    Eimeikan Dojo practises the Japanese weapon arts of Iaido (the art of drawing the sword) and Jodo (the way of the Jo).

    If you are 18+ and would like to give these arts a try, please get in touch.
    We welcome new students at any time.

    You can come along and watch, but it is better to join in... and the first lesson is free.

    Fees

    BKA (Governing body) Fees

    Temporary BKA Membership: After an initial trial lesson all members must be covered by insurance, in this case, provided by the British Kendo Association. New members can benefit from a 3-month temporary BKA membership for £10.

    Full BKA membership:  Once a trial membership has expired you can continue training with a full membership. Concessions etc are available. For full details follow the link.

    Dojo Fees

    Free lesson: Interested people are invited to make contact and come along for a free lesson to either watch or take part. Simply wear loose clothing such as jogging bottoms and a plain t-shirt.

    Training fee:  £40 per month
